Susan Sarandon

Susan Sarandon (n. Nueva York, 4 de octubre de 1946) es una actriz estadounidense ganadora del premio Oscar.

Su primer éxito le vino con "La pequeña" (1978), filme al que siguió "Atlantic City" (1980), junto a Louis Malle, con quien estaba unida sentimentalmente. Entre otras de sus películas relevantes figuran "Thelma y Louise" (1991), "El cliente" (1994), "Mujercitas" (1994) y "Pena de muerte" (1995), por la que en 1996 le fue otorgado el Oscar como mejor actriz. Posteriormente intervino en "Al caer el sol" (1997), "Illuminata" (1998), "Quédate a mi lado" (1998) y "The Cradle Will Rock" (1999). En 1987 conoció a su actual pareja, el también actor Tim Robbins, en la película "Los búfalos de Durham". Anteriormente estuvo casada con el actor y productor Chris Sarandon desde 1967 a 1979.
